- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Best decision I have ever made was walking into this office for a consultation. It has changed my life and Dr. Metz is exactly the type of surgeon you want. Meticulous but also caring. Right before surgery I was actually sitting in the pre-op room crying because o was afraid and worried about how my life would change. He walked in, saw that I was upset and simply told me that he could help me change my life, but I has to want it. Then said he would give me a few minutes. This is minutes before surgery...and he probably could have bullied me or pressured me...but instead he showed a level of compassion that is hard to find in doctors. I of course went through with the surgery. No complications. I am a year out now and have no regrets.May 18, 2017by Samantha Barkus
